Abstract
An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing high-purity 2,6-NDA having a small alkali metal content. The present invention relates to a method for producing a high-purity 2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylic acid, comprising a purification step of washing a crude 2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylic acid having a specific surface area of 2 m2/g or more in the presence of an aqueous medium under a temperature condition of 90° C. or more and less than 200° C.
Claims17
A method for producing a high-purity 2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylic acid, comprising:
- a step of washing a crude 2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylic acid having a specific surface area of 2 m2/g or more in the presence of an aqueous medium under a temperature condition of 90° C. or more and less than 200° C., wherein an alkali metal content contained in the high-purity 2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylic acid is less than 20 ppm.
A 2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylic acid having an alkali metal content less than 20 ppm and a specific surface area less than 2 m2/g.
