Abstract
A method of treating a textile substrate by applying a disinfecting treating composition comprising at least one anti-microbial agent, using an exhaust process, and subjecting the textile substrate to one or more heat treatments.
Claims26
A method of treating a textile substrate by:
- applying a disinfecting treating composition comprising at least one anti-microbial agent selected from the group consisting of a quaternary ammonium organosilane compound, a silver salt, poly-glucosamine, propiconazole, thiabendazole, biocoated silver particles, and polyhexamethylene biguanide;
- using an exhaust process;
- subjecting the textile substrate to a heat treatment at a temperature of between 110° C.−180° C.;
- and
- once again subjecting the textile substrate to a heat treatment at a temperature of 110° C.−180° C.;
- and
- wherein the disinfecting treating composition further comprises a cross-linking agent which is selected from a type of adducts of blocked isocyanate.
