Abstract
Provided is an electrophotographic photosensitive member that is reduced in exposure memory and is excellent in electrical characteristics and durability. The electrophotographic photosensitive member includes in this order: a support; a photosensitive layer; and a protective layer, wherein the protective layer contains a resin having a structure represented by the following general formula (1) and a structure represented by the following general formula (2).
Claims10
An electrophotographic photosensitive member comprising in this order:
- a support;
- a photosensitive layer;
- and
- a protective layer,
- wherein the protective layer contains a resin having a structure represented by the following general formula (1) and a structure represented by the following general formula (2):
- in the formula (1), R1 represents an alkylene group or phenylene group that may have a substituent, and R2 to R7 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, or an ethyl group;
- in the formula (2), R11 represents an alkylene group or phenylene group that may have a substituent, and R12 to R17 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, or an ethyl group.
An electrophotographic photosensitive member comprising in this order:
- a support;
- a photosensitive layer;
- and
- a protective layer,
- wherein the protective layer contains a polymer of a composition containing a polymerizable compound represented by the following general formula (1A) and a polymerizable compound represented by the following general formula (2A):
- in the formula (1A), R1 represents an alkylene group or phenylene group that may have a substituent, and R2 to R7 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, or an ethyl group;
- in the formula (2A), R11 represents an alkylene group or phenylene group that may have a substituent, and R12 to R17 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, or an ethyl group.
A process cartridge comprising:
- the electrophotographic photosensitive member;
- and
- at least one unit selected from the group consisting of a charging unit, a developing unit, and a cleaning unit,
- the process cartridge integrally supporting the electrophotographic photosensitive member and the at least one unit, and being removably mounted onto a main body of an electrophotographic image-forming apparatus
- wherein the electrophotographic photosensitive member comprises in this order:
- a support;
- a photosensitive layer;
- and
- a protective layer,
- wherein the protective layer contains a resin having a structure represented by the following general formula (1) and a structure represented by the following general formula (2):
- in the formula (1), R1 represents an alkylene group or phenylene group that may have a substituent, and R2 to R7 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, or an ethyl group;
- in the formula (2), R11 represents an alkylene group or phenylene group that may have a substituent, and R12 to R17 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, or an ethyl group.
An electrophotographic image-forming apparatus comprising:
- the electrophotographic photosensitive member;
- and
- at least one unit selected from the group consisting of a charging unit, an exposing unit, a developing unit, and a transferring unit
- wherein the electrophotographic photosensitive member comprises in this order:
- a support;
- a photosensitive layer;
- and
- a protective layer,
- wherein the protective layer contains a resin having a structure represented by the following general formula (1) and a structure represented by the following general formula (2):
- in the formula (1), R1 represents an alkylene group or phenylene group that may have a substituent, and R2 to R7 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, or an ethyl group;
- in the formula (2), R11 represents an alkylene group or phenylene group that may have a substituent, and R12 to R17 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, or an ethyl group.
