Abstract
A foam-based expansion joint seal system packaging which facilitates transport and reduces the need for internal splices.
Claims18
An expansion joint seal system, comprising:
- a longitudinal body of foam in compression;
- the longitudinal body of foam in compression impregnated with a fire retardant additive;
- and
- a casing in tension helically compressively encircling the longitudinal body of foam in compression and a water-resistant constituent.
