Rotary electric device control device, and electric power steering device using the same

A rotary electric device control device for controlling driving of a rotary electric device including a plurality of winding sets, the rotary electric device control device comprising:

• a plurality of drive circuits;
• and
• a plurality of control units that include signal output units for outputting control signals to the drive circuits corresponding to the control units, respectively, wherein:
• a combination of one of the control units, one of the drive circuits and one of the winding sets corresponding to the one of the control units is defined as a system;
• each of the control units includes a command calculation unit for calculating a command value of a host system and a communication unit for communicating with another control unit in another system;
• each of the control units transmits a host system detection value relating to a detection value of the host system to the other system, and receives another system detection value relating to another detection value of the other system from the other system;
• and
• each of the control units generates a control signal according to the command value calculated by each system, the host system detection value, and the system detection value.
