A method for administering dihomo gamma linolenic acid (DGLA) to a human patient, the method comprising orally administering an effective dose of DGLA to a human patient having a skin disease under fasting conditions that are effective to treat the skin disease.
A method of treating a skin disease in a fasting subject, the method comprising orally administering an effective dose of a pharmaceutical comprising at least 95% DGLA, by weight of total fatty acids, to a fasting subject having a skin disease.
