Abstract
A composition for controlling a plant disease is provided, containing a tetrazolinone compound represented by formula (1), wherein X1 represents a halogen atom, a C1-C6 alkyl group, or a C1-C6 alkoxy group, and X2 represents a C1-C3 alkyl group, a C3-C4 cycloalkyl group, a halogen atom, or a C1-C3 alkoxy group, and a carboxamide compound represented by formula (2). A method for controlling a plant disease is also provided, containing a step of applying an effective amount of the tetrazolinone compound represented by formula (1) and an effective amount of the carboxamide compound represented by formula (2) to a plant or soil for cultivating the plant. Both the composition and the method have excellent control efficacies against plant diseases.
