Abstract
A receiving node of a first wireless communications system is co-located with a node of a second wireless communications system, said first and second wireless communications systems are configured with frequencies on a shared frequency band. Information identifying a node of the first wireless communications system transmitting on the shared frequency band is received. The received information identifying the transmitting node as an interfering node to the co-located node of the second wireless communications system is transmitted to an entity controlling configuration of the shared frequency band.
Claims14
A method comprising:
- configuring a receiving node of a first wireless communications system co-located with a node of a second wireless communications system, said first and second wireless communications systems are configured with frequencies on a shared frequency band, the second wireless communication system having a higher priority than the first wireless communication system, the priority indicating that transmissions from a transmitting node of the first wireless communication system received at a node of the second wireless communication system are interference;
- receiving information identifying a transmitting node of the first wireless communications system;
- transmitting on a frequency of the first wireless communications system;
- transmitting to an entity controlling configuration of the shared frequency band between the first and the second wireless communications system information identifying the transmitting node as an interfering node to the co-located node of the second wireless communications system;
- and
- protecting the node of the second wireless communications system communicating on the frequency of the shared frequency band from interference originating from the first wireless communications system by co-locating the receiving node of the first wireless communications system with the node of the second wireless communications system.
A method comprising:
- receiving information from a receiving node of a first wireless communications system identifying a transmitting node of the first wireless communications system as an interfering node to a node of a second wireless communications system co-located with the receiving node, wherein the said first and second wireless communications system are configured with frequencies on a shared frequency band, the second wireless communication system having a higher priority than the first wireless communication system, the priority indicating that transmissions from a transmitting node of the first wireless communication system received at a node of the second wireless communication system are interference;
- controlling configuration of the shared frequency band between the first and the second wireless communications system on the basis of the received information, the node of the second wireless communications system communicating on a frequency of the shared frequency band from interference originating from the first wireless communications system being protected by co-locating the receiving node of the first wireless communications system with the node of the second wireless communications system.
An apparatus of a first wireless communication system being co-located with a node of a second wireless communication system, said first and second wireless communications systems being configured with frequencies on a shared frequency band, comprising at least one processor, and at least one memory including computer program code, the at least one memory and the computer program code configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the apparatus at least to:
- receive information identifying a transmitting node of the first wireless communications system transmitting on a frequency of the first wireless communications system;
- transmit to an entity controlling configuration of the shared frequency band between the first and the second wireless communications system information identifying the transmitting node as an interfering node to the co-located node of the second wireless communications system, the second wireless communication system having a higher priority than the first wireless communication system, the priority indicating that transmissions from a transmitting node of the first wireless communication system received at a node of the second wireless communication system are interference;
- and
- protect the node of the second wireless communications system communicating on a frequency of the shared frequency band from interference originating from the first wireless communications system by co-locating the receiving node of the first wireless communications system with the node of the second wireless communications system.
An apparatus comprising at least one processor, and at least one memory including computer program code, the at least one memory and the computer program code configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the apparatus to at least:
- receive information from a receiving node of a first wireless communications system identifying a transmitting node of the first wireless communications system as an interfering node to a node of a second wireless communications system co-located with the receiving node, the second wireless communication system having a higher priority than the first wireless communication system, the priority indicating that transmissions from a transmitting node of the first wireless communication system received at a node of the second wireless communication system are interference;
- wherein the said first and second wireless communications system are configured with frequencies on a shared frequency band;
- and
- control configuration of the shared frequency band between the first and the second wireless communications system on the basis of the received information, the node of the second wireless communications system communicating on a frequency of the shared frequency band from interference originating from the first wireless communications system being protected by co-locating the receiving node of the first wireless communications system with the node of the second wireless communications system.
