Abstract
An image forming apparatus includes a height determining member that performs the positioning of a holder in a height direction. When the holder is not mounted, the height determining member is assembled to a predetermined frame member to serve as a part of the predetermined frame member.
Claims3
An image forming apparatus comprising:
- a holder receiving part in which a holder for holding an IC card reader is mounted as an option component;
- and
- a height determining member that performs positioning of the holder in a height direction,
- wherein, when the holder is not mounted, the height determining member is assembled to a predetermined frame member to serve as a part of the predetermined frame member, and when the holder is mounted, the height determining member is separated from the predetermined frame member, is used by changing a direction thereof, and is interposed between the holder and a bottom surface of the holder receiving part to allow a detection surface of the IC card reader to be positioned at a predetermined height.
