Mounting structure of oil control valve unit and motorcycle

A motorcycle comprising:

• a vehicle body frame;
• an engine with a variable valve timing device, the engine supported by the vehicle body frame;
• and
• an oil control valve unit configured to control a hydraulic pressure to the variable valve timing device of the engine,
• wherein the oil control valve unit is mounted to an outer surface of the engine,
• wherein the oil control valve unit is detachably mounted to the outer surface of the engine avoiding the vehicle body frame,
• wherein the vehicle body frame comprises a pair of right and left main frames extending rearward from a head pipe, and a pair of right and left down frames extending obliquely downward from the head pipe toward a rear of the motorcycle,
• wherein the oil control valve unit is detachably mounted to a right or left side surface of the engine between the main frames and the down frames,
• wherein a mounting space of the oil control valve unit exists on a movement trajectory of the down frames upon mounting of the vehicle body frame to the engine.
