Abstract
Isolated anti-IL-12 antibodies, nucleic acids encoding antibodies or antibody portions, vectors, host cells, and methods of making are useful for production of antibody or portions for treating and/or diagnosing IL-12 related conditions, diseases, and disorders, such as systemic lupus erythematosus.
Claims12
A method for reducing symptoms of systemic lupus erythematosus in an animal, comprising administering a composition comprising an effective amount of an isolated anti-IL-12 antibody comprising a heavy chain variable region of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 7 and a light chain variable region of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 8, intravenously to said animal.
A method for reducing symptoms of systemic lupus erythematosus in an animal, comprising administering a composition comprising an effective amount of an isolated anti-IL-12 antibody comprising a heavy chain complementarity determining region CDR 1 of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 1, a heavy chain CDR2 of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 2, a heavy chain CDR3 of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 3, a light chain CDR1 of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 4, a light chain CDR2 of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 5, and a light chain CDR3 of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 6, intravenously to said animal.
A method for reducing symptoms of systemic lupus erythematosus in a human, comprising administering a composition comprising an effective amount of an isolated anti-IL-12 antibody comprising a heavy chain variable region of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 7 and a light chain variable region of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 8, intravenously to said human.
A method for reducing symptoms of systemic lupus erythematosus in a human, comprising administering a composition comprising an effective amount of an isolated anti-IL-12 antibody comprising a heavy chain complementarity determining region CDR 1 of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 1, a heavy chain CDR2 of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 2, a heavy chain CDR3 of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 3, a light chain CDR1 of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 4, a light chain CDR2 of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 5, and a light chain CDR3 of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
