Catheter device, comprising a valve for controlling a fluid flow through a catheter

A catheter device, comprising:

• a catheter for introduction into a patient, the catheter having at least one lumen extending through the catheter configured to direct a fluid flow within the catheter device;
• a valve operatively coupled to the catheter to control the fluid flow through the catheter, the valve comprising:
• a valve controller, having a feed channel, a feed opening, a discharge channel, and a discharge opening, wherein the feed opening and the discharge opening are separated by a connection channel;
• and
• a moveable closure element configured to be movable in a controlled manner in the valve controller, the moveable closure element configured to take a first position in which the discharge opening is closed, a second position in which the feed opening is closed, and a third position in which the moveable closure element holds open the connection channel;
• and
• a valve drive configured to move the moveable closure element between the first position, the second position, and the third position,
• wherein the at least one lumen is connected to the feed channel or the discharge channel and is configured to direct fluid through the feed channel or the discharge channel,
• wherein the catheter further comprises a rotatable shaft, the rotatable shaft being flexible and configured to be adapted to a curvature of an aortic arch of the patient,
• wherein a drive device external to the patient is configured to drive the rotatable shaft
• wherein the catheter is configured as an expandable catheter pump, and
• wherein the valve controller is configured to be detachable to the valve drive in a destructive-free manner, wherein at least a part of the moveable closure element is configured as a magnetic element and the valve drive comprises a magnetic field production device configured to move the moveable closure element between the first position, the second position, and the third position.
