Abstract
Described herein are prostate specific membrane antigen (PSMA) binding conjugates that are useful for delivering therapeutic, diagnostic and imaging agents. Also described herein are pharmaceutical composition containing them and methods of using the conjugates and compositions. Also described are processes for manufacture of the conjugates and the compositions containing them.

A compound of the formula
- B-L-D
- or a salt thereof, wherein
- B is a prostate specific membrane antigen binding or targeting ligand of the formula
- where R1 is hydrogen and R2 is a substituted carboxylic acid;
- L comprises an unsubstituted divalent carbonylalkylcarbonyl diradical and a tripeptide comprising one or more optionally substituted Phe, wherein L does not comprise a cycloalkylene group;
- and
- D is a chelating group radical of the formula
- where * is the point of attachment to L.
