Abstract
This invention relates to an elastomeric article with improved lubricity and donnablity and reduced stickiness/tackiness. According to the methods of the invention, the internal surface of the elastomeric article is coated with a polyisoprene coating. The coating of the invention is formed from synthetic polyisoprene rubber that may or may not contain minor amounts of other components. The coating is preferably directly bonded to the underlying elastomeric article.
Claims21
A method of making a coated elastomeric rubber article comprising:
- forming an elastomeric rubber article consisting of an elastomeric material selected from the group consisting of natural rubber, synthetic polyisoprene, polychloroprene, nitrile, carboxylated acrylonitrile butadiene rubber, styrene butadiene rubber, butadiene co-polymer, polyurethane, vinyl and mixtures thereof;
- coating the elastomeric rubber article with a coating composition comprising polyisoprene rubber;
- wherein the coated elastomeric rubber article comprises protrusions consisting of the coating composition.
