Catalysts, catalytic systems and related synthetic methods for in situ production of H2O2 and use thereof in reaction with oxidizable substrates.

A composition comprising a nanoparticulate TiO2 core component, the nanoparticulate TiO2 core component having a surface;
- a SiO2 shell component coupled to and partially coating the surface of said core component;
- and transition metal moieties coupled to said shell component, said composition comprising pores comprising TiO2 surface areas.
A composition comprising a nanoparticulate TiO2 core component, the nanoparticulate TiO2 core component having a surface;
- a porous SiO2 shell component coupled to and partially coating the surface of said core component;
- and transition metal moieties coupled to said shell component, said composition comprising pores comprising TiO2 surface areas.
