The system and method may be used to generate a piece of printed media that is interactive that may be sent to third parties or to make an existing piece of printed media interactive. ## Claims ### Claim 1 A system for generating interactive media, comprising: a computing device having a processor, memory, an imaging device and a display, the computing device being one of a mobile computing and a wearable computing device; a backend component that can be coupled to the computing device; the computing device being configured to select a piece of media and record a piece of interactive content using the imaging device for each of a plurality of recipients, each piece of interactive content having a unique identifier for one of the recipients and the piece of media having a code; and the backend component being configured to associate a link between the piece of media code and the unique identifier of the piece of interactive content for each recipient to generate an interactive piece of media for each recipient, wherein the piece of media is the same for each recipient and the interactive piece of media is unique for each recipient. ### Claim 2 (depends on 1) The system of claim 1, wherein the computing device generates the piece of media. ### Claim 3 (depends on 1) The system of claim 1, wherein the imaging device is a camera that records the piece of interactive content, wherein the piece of interactive content is a video. ### Claim 4 (depends on 1) The system of claim 1, wherein the computing device is further configured to select an image to be the piece of media that is one of stored in the computing device and on a third party site. ### Claim 5 (depends on 4) The system of claim 4, wherein the computing device has one or more templates into which an image may be placed. ### Claim 6 (depends on 1) The system of claim 1, wherein the piece of media further comprises a piece of print media. ### Claim 7 A method for generating interactive media, comprising: selecting, by a computing device having a processor, memory, an imaging device and a display, the computing device being one of a mobile computing and a wearable computing device, a piece of media; recording, by the imaging device of the computing device, a piece of interactive content for each of a plurality of recipients, each piece of interactive content having a unique identifier for one of the recipients and the piece of media having a code; and associating a link, at the backend component, between the piece of media code and the unique identifier of the piece of interactive content for each recipient to generate an interactive for each recipient, wherein the piece of media is the same for each recipient and the interactive piece of media is unique for each recipient. ### Claim 8 (depends on 7) The method of claim 7 further comprising generating, by the computing device, the piece of media. ### Claim 9 (depends on 7) The method of claim 7, wherein recording the piece of interactive content further comprises using a camera of the computing device to capture a video. ### Claim 10 (depends on 7) The method of claim 7 further comprising selecting an image to be the piece of media that is one of stored in the computing device and on a third party site. ### Claim 11 (depends on 7) The method of claim 7, wherein the piece of media further comprises a piece of print media. ### Claim 12 An apparatus, comprising: a computer system having a processor, memory and a plurality of lines of code configured to: receive a piece of media from a computing device, the piece of media having a code; receive a user generated piece of interactive content generated by an imaging device of the computing device for each of a plurality of recipients, each piece of user generated interactive content having a unique identifier for one of the recipients; and associate a link between the piece of media code and the unique identifier of the piece of interactive content for each recipient to generate an interactive piece of media for each recipient, wherein the piece of media is the same for each recipient and the interactive piece of media is unique for each recipient. ### Claim 13 (depends on 12) The apparatus of claim 12, wherein the piece of media further comprises a piece of print media. ### Claim 14 (depends on 12) The apparatus of claim 12, wherein the computer system further comprises one or more server computers.
