A stretch film roll, comprising:
- a wound stretch film web section having longitudinal edges that are non-linear, the stretch film roll comprising:
- a cylindrical central portion;
- and
- tapered end portions,
- wherein the non-linear longitudinal edges comprise:
- a first longitudinal edge formed by a first cutting blade that is oscillated;
- and
- a second longitudinal edge formed by a second cutting blade that is oscillated.
