A carbonated, beer-taste beverage comprising a saponin and a caramel color as a colorant, wherein a content of the saponin is at least 1 mg/L but not greater than 8 mg/L, wherein a content of the caramel color is at least 10 mg/L but not greater than 1,000 mg/L, wherein the beverage is prepared by using at least a mugi material and hops, and wherein the alcohol content of the beverage is not greater than 1.0%.
