## Abstract

A network-based service is utilized to facilitate twinning of two or more communication devices associated with a subscriber account. Incoming communication is intercepted by a communication device and forwarded to a network server, which in turn transmits the incoming communication to the multiple twinned devices. In addition, identifier data associated with outgoing communication is replaced with a primary identifier (e.g., customer telephone number (CTN)) of a user's primary device or a common identifier (e.g., a mobile one number (MON)) assigned to devices associated with the user's subscriber account. Communication devices can be temporarily twinned for a defined time period, during which a common bill can be generated for the twinned devices.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A system, comprising:
a processor; and
a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, facilitate performance of operations, comprising:
receiving configuration data that links a first smart device to a second smart device, wherein the first smart device and the second smart device are associated with a common subscriber account;
based on the configuration data, facilitating a routing of communication data to the second smart device and the first smart device, wherein the communication data has been transmitted from a source device and is determined to be directed to the first smart device; and
in response to the routing of the communication data to the second smart device and the first smart device, presenting notification data indicative of a notification via the first smart device and the second smart device.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein the configuration data comprises association data that links a first identifier of the first smart device with a second identifier of the second smart device.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein the operations further comprise:
storing the configuration data within a network storage device of a communication network.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein the receiving comprises receiving the configuration data from a user device subsequent to verifying that the user device is authorized to configure the first smart device and the second smart device.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein the configuration data comprises timing data that specifies a time period for which the first smart device is to be linked to the second smart device.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein the configuration data comprises policy data that specifies a policy that is to be utilized to link the first smart device with the second smart device.

### Claim 7 (depends on 6)

The system of claim 6, wherein the policy data is generated based on distance data representing a distance between the first smart device and the second smart device.

### Claim 8 (depends on 6)

The system of claim 6, wherein the policy data is generated based on classification data indicative of a type of the source device.

### Claim 9 (depends on 6)

The system of claim 6, wherein the policy data is generated based on timing data indicative of a current time.

### Claim 10 (depends on 6)

The system of claim 6, wherein the policy data is employed in response to receiving a predefined text code from an authorized user device.

### Claim 11 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein the first smart device and the second smart device are different type of smart devices.

### Claim 12 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein the presenting the notification data comprises presenting the notification data via a first display of the first smart device and a second display of the second smart device.

### Claim 13

A method, comprising:
receiving, by a system comprising a processor, configuration data that links a first smart device and a second smart device, with a common subscriber account; and
in response to routing of the configuration data to the first smart device and the second smart device, facilitating, by the system, a presentation of notification data indicative of a notification associated with communication data via the first smart device and via the second smart device, wherein the communication data is determined to be directed from a source device to the first smart device.

### Claim 14 (depends on 13)

The method of claim 13, wherein the receiving the configuration data comprises receiving policy data that specifies a policy for linking the first smart device and the second smart device with the common subscriber account.

### Claim 15 (depends on 13)

The method of claim 13, further comprising:
receiving, by the system, authorization data that authorizes an association of the first smart device and the second smart device, with the common subscriber account.

### Claim 16 (depends on 13)

The method of claim 13, further comprising:
as a function of the presentation, receiving, by the system, input data via the second smart device; and
in response to receiving the input data, facilitating, by the system, a routing of the communication data to the second smart device.

### Claim 17 (depends on 13)

The method of claim 13, further comprising:
storing, by the system, the configuration data within a data store of a communication network.

### Claim 18

A non-transitory machine-readable storage medium, comprising executable instructions that, when executed by a processor, facilitate performance of operations, comprising:
determining configuration data that links a first smart device and a second smart device, with a common subscriber account; and
in response to receiving communication data from a source device and routing the communication data to the first smart device and the second smart device, facilitating, based on the configuration data, a display of notification data indicative of a notification associated with communication data via the first smart device and via the second smart device.

### Claim 19 (depends on 18)

The non-transitory machine-readable storage medium of claim 18, wherein the first smart device comprises a wearable device.

### Claim 20 (depends on 18)

The non-transitory machine-readable storage medium of claim 18, wherein the first smart device comprises a device of a connected car.
