## Abstract

A package is disclosed. The package includes at least one clinging or adhering access feature at an access opening of the package. A method of forming and dispensing contents from a package is also disclosed.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A package for holding fluid product, comprising:
a package body having first and second outer panel portions defining an inner cavity;
a dispensing portion defining a flow path from the inner cavity, the dispensing portion being bounded by first and second flexible film structures;
at least one of the first and second flexible film structures including at least one inflated portion to urge the first flexible film structure against the second flexible film structure to limit flow of the fluid product out the dispensing portion until the flow path is sufficiently opened to facilitate flow of the fluid product past the first and second flexible film structures and out the dispensing portion.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The package of claim 1, wherein the package is constructed at least in part of a generally flexible material.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The package of claim 1, further including a closure device.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The package of claim 1, further comprising a bottom panel portion extending between and generally transverse to the first and second outer panel portions.

### Claim 5 (depends on 4)

The package of claim 4, wherein the bottom panel portion is gusseted to facilitate generally upright standing of the package.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The package of claim 1, wherein the first outer panel portion is a front panel portion of the package and the second outer panel portion is a back panel portion of the package.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The package of claim 1, further including a tear portion adapted to tear away a portion of the package to expose the flow path.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The package of claim 1, wherein the flow of fluid product is facilitated by applying pressure to the package.

### Claim 9

A flexible package for holding fluid product, comprising:
a flexible package body having first and second outer panel portions defining an inner cavity and a body width; and
a dispensing portion defining a flow Path from the inner cavity with dispensing width smaller than the body width, the dispensing portion having a generally funnel-shaped portion bounded by first and second flexible film structures;
at least one of the first and second flexible film structures including at least one inflated portion to urge the first flexible film structure against the second flexible film structure thereby limiting flow through the dispensing portion until the flow path is sufficiently opened to facilitate flow of the fluid product past the first and second flexible film structures and out the dispensing portion.

### Claim 10 (depends on 9)

The flexible package of claim 9, further including a closure device.

### Claim 11 (depends on 9)

The flexible package of claim 9, further comprising a bottom panel portion extending between and generally transverse to the first and second outer panel portions.

### Claim 12 (depends on 11)

The flexible package of claim 11, wherein the bottom panel portion is gusseted to facilitate generally upright standing of the package.

### Claim 13 (depends on 9)

The flexible package of claim 9, wherein the first outer panel portion is a front panel portion of the package and the second outer panel portion is a back panel portion of the package.

### Claim 14 (depends on 9)

The flexible package of claim 9, further including a tear portion adapted to tear away a portion of the package to expose the flow path.

### Claim 15 (depends on 9)

The flexible package of claim 9, wherein the flow of the fluid product is facilitated by applying pressure to the package.

### Claim 16

A package for holding fluid product, comprising:
a package body having first and second outer panel portions defining an inner cavity and a body width; and
a dispensing portion bounded by first and second flexible film structures defining a flow path from the inner cavity having a dispensing width smaller than the body width,
at least one of the first and second flexible film structures including at least one inflated portion to urge the first flexible film structure against the second flexible film structure thereby regulating flow through the dispensing portion until the flow path is sufficiently opened to facilitate flow of the fluid product past the first and second flexible film structures and out the dispensing portion.

### Claim 17 (depends on 16)

The package of claim 16, wherein the flow of the fluid product is facilitated by applying pressure to the package.

### Claim 18 (depends on 16)

The package of claim 16, further including a closure device.

### Claim 19 (depends on 16)

The package of claim 16, further comprising a bottom panel portion extending between and generally transverse to the first and second outer panel portions to facilitate generally upright standing of the package.

### Claim 20 (depends on 16)

The package of claim 16, further including a tear portion adapted to tear away a portion of the package to expose the flow path.
