Transmission terminal, transmission method, and computer-readable recording medium storing transmission program

A method, implemented by a first transmission terminal, comprising:

• obtaining first image data by performing image capturing with a camera;
• logging in to a transmission management system by transmitting a login request to the transmission management system;
• establishing a communication session for transmitting and receiving the first image data with a second transmission terminal that has logged into the transmission management system via a relay apparatus;
• and
• causing, by a transmitter, the first image to be displayed on a display screen of the second transmission terminal by transmitting the first image data using the established communication session,
• wherein
• when an external input apparatus that has not logged in to the transmission management system is connected with the first transmission terminal during transmitting of the first image data by the transmitter, a receiver is configured to receive, from the external input apparatus, second image data obtained in the external input apparatus, and
• when the receiver receives the second image data, the transmitter transmits the second image data, via the relay apparatus with which the communication session has been established with the second transmission terminal, to cause the second image data, in addition to the first image data, to be displayed on the display screen of the second transmission terminal.

A transmission system comprising:

• a transmission management system;
• and
• a first transmission terminal,
• wherein
• the transmission management system includes processing circuitry configured to perform authentication on the basis of a login request received from the first transmission terminal,
• and
• the first transmission terminal includes:
• processing circuitry configured to
• obtain first image data by performing image capturing with a camera,
• log in to a transmission management system by transmitting a login request to the transmission management system,
• establish a communication session for transmitting and receiving the first image data with a second transmission terminal that has logged into the transmission management system via a relay apparatus;
• and
• a transmitter configured to cause the first image to be displayed on a display screen of the second transmission terminal by transmitting the first image data using the established communication session,
• wherein
• when an external input apparatus that has not logged in to the transmission management system is connected with the first transmission terminal during transmitting of the first image data by the transmitter, a receiver is configured to receive, from the external input apparatus, second image data obtained in the external input apparatus, and
• when the receiver receives the second image data, the transmitter transmits the second image data, via the relay apparatus with which the communication session has been established with the second transmission terminal, to cause the second image data, in addition to the first image data, to be displayed on the display screen of the second transmission terminal.
