Abstract
The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods for controlling delivery of a resource. An intermediary device may establish a connection to deliver a resource hosted on at least one server to a client using a remoting protocol. The remoting protocol may define one or more channels in the connection for delivering or enabling one or more features of the resource to the client. The device may identify the one or more channels, and may identify the one or more features of the resource. The device may determine a policy for controlling access of the client to at least a first feature of the resource. The device may control access of the client to the first feature by modifying a first channel of the one or more channels according to the determined policy.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- (a) receiving, by a device intermediary between a client and a server, a request to establish a connection with the server using a remote protocol comprising a plurality of channels, each of the plurality of channels corresponding to one or more features of one or more resources of a plurality of resources to be provided by the server to the client via the remote protocol;
- (b) identifying, by the device, a policy controlling access by the client to a first feature of the one or more features of a first resource of the one or more resources of the plurality of resources;
- (c) identifying, by the device, a first channel of the plurality of channels corresponding to the first feature of the first resource specified by the policy;
- and
- (d) modifying, by the device, the first channel of the plurality of channels to control access by the client to the first feature of the first resource provided via the first channel.
A system comprising:
- a device comprising one or more processors, coupled to memory and intermediary between a client and a server, the device configured to receive a request to establish a connection with the server using a remote protocol comprising a plurality of channels, each of the plurality of channels corresponding to one or more features of one or more resources of a plurality of resources to be provided by the server to the client via the remote protocol;
- wherein the device is configured to:
- identify a policy controlling access by the client to a first feature of the one or more features of a first resource of the one or more resources of the plurality of resources;
- identify a first channel of the plurality of channels corresponding to the first feature of the first resource specified by the policy;
- and
- modify the first channel of the plurality of channels to control access by the client to the first feature of the first resource provided via the first channel.
