Feedback for independent links

An apparatus for communication, comprising:

• a memory;
• and
• a processor coupled to the memory, wherein the processor and the memory are configured to:
• obtain first channel state information for a first wireless communication link;
• obtain second channel state information for a second wireless communication link;
• determine that a feedback signal is to be based on the first channel state information and the second channel state information, wherein the determination is based on whether a first antenna sub-array for the first wireless communication link is within a threshold distance of a second antenna sub-array for the second wireless communication link;
• and
• generate the feedback signal based on the first channel state information and the second channel state information as a result of the determination.

An apparatus for communication, comprising:

• means for obtaining first channel state information for a first wireless communication link;
• means for obtaining second channel state information for a second wireless communication link;
• means for determining that a feedback signal is to be based on the first channel state information and the second channel state information, wherein the determination is based on whether a first antenna sub-array for the first wireless communication link is within a threshold distance of a second antenna sub-array for the second wireless communication link;
• and
• means for generating the feedback signal based on the first channel state information and the second channel state information as a result of the determination.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing computer-executable code, including code to:

• obtain first channel state information for a first wireless communication link;
• obtain second channel state information for a second wireless communication link;
• determine that a feedback signal is to be based on the first channel state information and the second channel state information, wherein the determination is based on whether a first antenna sub-array for the first wireless communication link is within a threshold distance of a second antenna sub-array for the second wireless communication link;
• and
• generate the feedback signal based on the first channel state information and the second channel state information as a result of the determination.
