Abstract
This interior magnet rotary electric machine (1) is provided with: a rotor (2) that has a rotor core (11) having permanent magnets (12, 13) embedded therein; a stator (3) that is disposed facing the rotor (2); and a fiber-reinforced plastic tube (4) that is fitted over and fixed to the rotor core (11).

An interior magnet rotary electric machine comprising:
- a rotor that includes a rotor core including permanent magnets embedded therein;
- a stator that is disposed facing the rotor;
- and
- a fiber-reinforced plastic tube containing one or more axial fibers, which extend in an axial direction of the rotor and are arranged in a lattice pattern, and a single spiral fiber, which extends in a circumferential direction of the rotor and is wound to form a spiral pattern around the circumference of the rotor.
