Abstract
A method includes establishing mutual communication between a wireless power transmitting unit (PTU) and a wireless power receiving unit (PRU); and receiving at the wireless PTU impedance range information from the wireless PRU.

A method comprising:
- establishing mutual communication between a wireless power transmitting unit (PTU) and a wireless power receiving unit (PRU);
- and
- receiving at the wireless PTU impedance range information from the wireless PRU.
A wireless power transmission device comprising:
- a power transmission resonator;
- a controller coupled to the power transmission resonator;
- and
- a wireless data communication transceiver coupled to the controller, the transceiver to:
- establish communication with a wireless power receiving unit (PRU);
- and
- receive impedance range information from the wireless PRU.
