Abstract
An embodiment provides a method, including: accessing, using a processor of an electronic device, a list of on-call clinicians; accessing, using the processor, a list of requirements for a healthcare facility on-call clinician schedule; producing, using the processor, an initial on-call clinician schedule based on the list of on-call clinicians; determining, using the processor, whether the list of requirements is satisfied by the initial on-call clinician schedule; and providing an indication as a result of the determining. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
Claims24
A method, comprising:
- assessing characteristics of an electronic device that are indicative of unavailability of a requestor including at least one of accelerometer data, 9-axis sensor data, or location data;
- accessing, using a processor of the electronic device or in communication with the electronic device, a list of on-call clinicians;
- determining an unavailability of at least one of the on-call clinicians based on the assessed characteristics;
- accessing, using the processor, a list of requirements for a healthcare facility on-call clinician schedule;
- producing, using the processor, an initial on-call clinician schedule based on the list of on-call clinicians and the determined unavailability;
- determining, using the processor, whether the list of requirements is satisfied by the initial on-call clinician schedule;
- and
- providing an indication of a result of the determining, the result including complete or incomplete coverage of the initial on-call clinician schedule.
A method, comprising:
- assessing characteristics of an electronic device that are indicative of unavailability of a reguestor including at least one of accelerometer data, 9-axis sensor data, or location data;
- determining an unavailability of at least one of the on-call clinicians based on the assessed characteristics;
- determining at least one update to an initial on-call clinician schedule based on the determined unavailability;
- receiving, from a first on-call clinician mobile device associated with a first clinician, the at least one update;
- updating, using a processor, the initial on-call clinician schedule based on the at least one update;
- and
- automatically communicating, using a wireless communication network, the at least one update to at least a second clinician mobile device associated with a second clinician based on priority information related to the first and second clinicians.
A method, comprising:
- assessing characteristics of an electronic device that are indicative of unavailability of a requestor including at least one of accelerometer data, 9-axis sensor data, or location data;
- receiving, at centralized electronic management system, at least one request for on-call clinician schedule data, the request indicating at least a service line and a facility requirement;
- accessing, using the centralized electronic management system, stored on-call clinician scheduling data based on the at least one request;
- and
- determining an unavailability of at least one on-call clinician based on the assessed characteristics;
- determining, based on at least the determined unavailability, a response to the at least one request for the on-call clinician schedule data, the response comprising at least a currently on-call clinician associated with the indicated service line and facility requirement;
- communicating, using a wireless communication network, the response.
A method, comprising:
- assessing characteristics of an electronic device that are indicative of unavailability of a requestor including at least one of accelerometer data, 9-axis sensor data, or location data;
- accessing, using a centralized electronic management system, stored on-call clinician scheduling data;
- analyzing, using a processor of the centralized electronic management system, the assessed characteristics of the electronic device and the on-call clinician scheduling data for a service line in a given time frame;
- determining an unavailability of at least one on-call clinician based on the analyzing;
- and
- identifying, based on at least the determined unavailability, at least one underutilized on-call service line time frame within the given time frame, wherein the at least one underutilized on-call service line is defined according to a user configuration.
