Claims8
An image display device, comprising:
- a processor configured to:
- perform subject recognition processing on a plurality of images in a group, the subject recognition processing recognizing a subject in each of the images, the images being classified into the group;
- make a decision as to whether or not at least one image with a person captured is included in the plurality of images in the group based on a recognition result of the subject recognition processing;
- when a decision is made that at least one image with the person captured is included in the plurality of images in the group, set a first selection criterion for selecting a representative image from the plurality of images in the group;
- when a decision is made that an image in which the person is captured is not included in the plurality of images in the group, set a second selection criterion for selecting the representative image from the plurality of images in the group;
- and
- select, an image from the plurality of images in the group to be the representative image, based on the first selection criterion in a case that at least one image with the person captured is included in the plurality of images in the group, or based on the second selection criterion in a case that at least one image with the person captured is not included in the plurality of images in the group, wherein
- the first selection criteria is a selection criterion used to select the representative image based upon a face of the person captured in the image.
A non-transitory computer readable medium having an image display program embedded therein, the image display program, when executed by a computer, causing the computer to:
- perform subject recognition processing on a plurality of images in a group, the subject recognition processing recognizing a subject in the image, the images being classified into the group;
- make a decision as to whether or not at least one image with a person captured is included in the plurality of images in the group based upon a recognition result of the subject recognition processing;
- and
- when a decision is made that at least one image with the person captured is included in the plurality of images in the group, set a first selection criterion for selecting a representative image from the plurality of images in the group;
- when a decision is made that an image in which a person is captured is not included in the plurality of images in the group, set a second selection criterion for selecting the representative image from the plurality of images in the group;
- and
- select an image from the plurality of images in the group to be a representative image based on the first selection criterion in a case that at least one image with the person captured is included in the plurality of images in the group, or based on the second selection criterion in a case that at least one image with the person captured is not included in the plurality of images in the group, wherein
- the first selection criteria is a selection criterion used to select the representative image based upon a face of the person captured in the image.
