Abstract
An image processing apparatus includes a display control unit configured to scroll a plurality of pieces of content data, a prediction unit configured to predict which content data among the plurality of pieces of content data moves from a hidden area to a display area according to a scroll display control condition controlled by the display control unit, and a decoding unit configured to decode the content data predicted by the prediction unit before the predicted content data moves to the display area.
Claims20
An image processing apparatus comprising:
- one or more hardware processors;
- and
- one or more memories which store instructions to be executed by the one or more hardware processors, wherein in accordance with the instructions executed by the one or more hardware processors, the image processing apparatus functions as:
- causing a display device to display images subject to display after decoding of the respective images;
- detecting scrolling operation performed by a user;
- changing, in response to the detected scrolling operation, images subject to display among a plurality of images arranged in a predetermined order;
- decoding un-decoded images which included in the plurality of images and not yet included in images subject to display;
- and
- changing decoding order, relative to the predetermined order, of un-decoded images which are included in the plurality of images and not yet included in images subject to display, depending on a direction of a scrolling operation that has been detected.
An image processing method comprising:
- causing a display device to display images subject to display after decoding of the respective images;
- detecting scrolling operation performed by a user;
- changing, in response to the detected scrolling operation, images subject to display among a plurality of images arranged in a predetermined order;
- decoding un-decoded images which are included in the plurality of images and not yet included in the plurality of images subject to display;
- and
- changing decoding order, relative to the predetermined order, of un-decoded images which are included in the plurality of images and not yet included in images subject to display, depending on a direction of a scrolling operation that has been detected.
A non-transitory computer readable storage medium containing computer-executable instructions that execute an image processing method, the method comprising:
- causing a display device to display images subject to display after decoding of the respective images;
- detecting scrolling operation performed by a user;
- changing, in response to the detected scrolling operation, images subject to display among a plurality of images arranged in a predetermined order;
- decoding un-decoded images which are included in the images and not yet included in images subject to display;
- and
- changing decoding order, relative to the predetermined order, of un-decoded images which are included in the plurality of images and not yet included in images subject to display, depending on a direction of a scrolling operation that has been detected.
