The invention relates to a compound of Formula I or IA and methods of treating cystic fibrosis comprising the step of administering a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of Formula I or IA to a patient in need thereof:

A compound of Formula VI or VIA:
- or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof;
- wherein;
- L1 is absent or an optionally substituted C1-C2-alkylene;
- Cy2 is selected from aryl, substituted aryl, heteroaryl, substituted heteroaryl, heterocyclic, substituted heterocyclic, cycloalkyl, substituted cycloalkyl, cycloalkenyl and substituted cycloalkenyl;
- R5 is hydrogen;
- and
- R100 is phenyl.
