Abstract
A supplement formulation comprising a Nitrate or a Nitrite of an Amino Acid Compound selected from the group consisting of Arginine, Agmatine, Beta Alanine, Citrulline, Creatine, Glutamine, L-Histidine, Isoleucine, Leucine, Norvaline, Ornithine, Valine, Aspartic Acid, Cysteine, Glycine, Lysine, Methionine, Proline, Tyrosine, and Phenylalanine is provided. The supplement formulation may be in a dosage form selected from the group consisting of a capsule, a cachet, a pill, a tablet, a powder, a granule, a pellet, a bead, a particle, a troche, a lozenge, a gel, a liquid, a suspension, a solution, an elixir, and a syrup.

A supplement formulation for human ingestion comprising a nitrate of a compound selected from the group consisting of agmatine, citrulline, and norvaline, wherein the nitrate of the compound is a salt of a nitrate (NO3−) or a mixed salt of a nitrate (NO3−) and wherein the nitrate of the compound is a solid compound at standard ambient temperature and pressure.
A supplement formulation for human ingestion comprising:
- a nitrate of a compound selected from the group consisting agmatine, beta alanine, citrulline, creatine, glutamine, isoleucine, norvaline, ornithine, aspartic acid, cysteine, glycine, lysine, proline, tyrosine, and phenylalanine, wherein the nitrate of the compound is a salt of a nitrate (NO3−) or a mixed salt of a nitrate (NO3−);
- and
- one or more additional components selected from the group consisting of a carrier, an excipient, a binder, a colorant, a flavoring agent, a preservative, a buffer, and a dilutent.
