Abstract
The present disclosure relates to improved magnetic mixing assemblies and mixing system. The magnetic mixing assemblies can provide improved mixing action, ease of use, and low friction. The mixing assemblies can be adapted for use with a wide variety of containers including narrower neck containers and flexible containers.
Claims19
An assembly comprising:
- a base;
- a magnetic impeller comprising:
- a rotatable element comprising a magnetic element;
- a plurality of blades;
- and
- a cage partly bounding the magnetic impeller, wherein the cage is connected to the base, wherein the cage and base form a first cavity;
- and wherein the magnetic impeller is physically decoupled from the cage and/or base, wherein at least one of the plurality of blades are disposed outside the cage, and the rotatable element is disposed within the cage.
