Applicator and system for administering and dispensing flowable pharmaceutical preparations

A cavity applicator comprising:

• a segmented plunger with circular dosing tabs on the segmented plunger and extruded sequential numbers on the segmented plunger in each inter-segment corresponding to a calibrated volumetric dosage, wherein a proximal end of the plunger contains a fused piston configured to be inserted through a distal end of a medication barrel;
• a medication barrel including a medication chamber configured for cream or gel flowable pharmaceutical compositions, the medication barrel configured to contain volumetric dosages ranging from half milliliter or less, to at least four milliliters of flowable compositions, the segmented plunger and fused piston configured to slide through inner walls of the medication barrel and push the flowable composition therein to exit through an outlet of the medication barrel when force is applied to the segmented plunger;
• and
• a removable cap to retard evaporation and prevent spillage of the contents inside the medication chamber of the cavity applicator.
