Abstract
A thio-selective radioactive labeling agent has the following general formula: *R-L-VS, wherein said *R is a radioisotope, L is a linking group, and VS is a vinylsulfone functional group.

A thio-selective radioactive labeling agent comprising a conjugate having the formula *R-L-VS, wherein a radioisotope, *R, is conjugated to a linking group L, and the linking group is conjugated to a vinylsulfone functional group VS, wherein *R is 18F, and the linking group, L, comprises diethylene glycol,
- wherein the vinylsulfone functional group VS has the structure:
- wherein R1, R2, and R3 are independently selected from the group consisting of H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, and heteroaryl, wherein R1 and R2 may be optionally substituted so as to form a C3-C8 cyclic unsaturated ring and the selected alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl and heteroaryls may be optionally substituted, and
- wherein R5 and R6 are independently selected from the group consisting of H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, and heteroaryl.
