Integrated power systems for electric vehicles

A power module for a vehicle, comprising:

• a support plate;
• a group of battery cells to supply a first voltage to a first set of auxiliary components of the vehicle and supply a second voltage different from the first voltage to a second set of auxiliary components of the vehicle, the group of battery cells being attached to the support plate;
• a bidirectional voltage converter coupled to the group of battery cells and coupled to an external power source that supplies power to a powertrain of the vehicle, the bidirectional voltage converter being attached to the support plate;
• and
• a controller to control operation of the group of battery cells through the bidirectional voltage converter, the controller being attached to the support plate.

A power system for a vehicle, comprising:

• a high voltage circuit that includes a high voltage source to supply a high voltage to a powertrain of the vehicle;
• a low voltage circuit that includes at least two low voltage sources to supply at least two different low voltages to auxiliary components of the vehicle;
• and
• a bidirectional voltage converter that is coupled between the high voltage circuit and the low voltage circuit;
• that converts the high voltage provided by the high voltage source to the two different low voltages;
• and that converts the two different low voltages provided by the at least two low voltage sources to the high voltage.
