## Abstract

Disclosed are uses of neuregulin in the preparation of medicines for preventing, treating or delaying ventricular arrhythmia of a human being, and pharmaceutical preparations that comprise the neuregulin and are used for preventing, treating or delaying the ventricular arrhythmia.

### Claim 1

A method for treating ventricular arrhythmias in a mammal in need thereof, comprising administering a polypeptide comprising the epidermal growth factor-like domain of neuregulin-1 (NRG-1) to the mammal.

The method of claim 1, wherein the polypeptide comprises the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 3.
