## CPC

- A01N 1/126: Physiologically active agents, e.g. antioxidants or nutrients
- A01N: PRESERVATION OF BODIES OF HUMANS OR ANIMALS OR PLANTS OR PARTS THEREOF (preservation of food or foodstuff A23); BIOCIDES, e.g. AS DISINFECTANTS, AS PESTICIDES OR AS HERBICIDES (preparations for medical, dental or toiletry purposes which kill or prevent the growth or proliferation of unwanted organisms A61K); PEST REPELLANTS OR ATTRACTANTS; PLANT GROWTH REGULATORS

## Abstract

The present invention relates to an aqueous solution for organ preservation, in particular for the myocardium, the solution comprising: 100 mM to 130 mM of Na+; 12 mM to 15 mM of K+; 0.25 mM to 1.3 mM of Ca++; 0.5 μM to 1.5 μM of cyclosporin A; and 0.5 μM to 1.5 μM of taxol, and it also relates to the joint use of cyclosporin A and taxol in a solution for in vitro preservation of an organ, in particular the myocardium.
