Abstract
A telecommunication network is described in which information relating to access to resources such as the world wide web, may be transferred between wireless communication terminals at least one of which is a client of a server connected to the network and providing access to the resources. A method of transfer and a terminal suitable therefor are described.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- establishing, by a first mobile terminal, a first connection from the first mobile terminal via a wireless communication network to a server, to access a resource;
- and
- initiating, by the first mobile terminal, a transfer of resource related information relating to the resource to a second mobile terminal over a direct wireless communication between the first mobile terminal and the second mobile terminal without passing via an intermediate terminal or server, wherein the resource related information facilitates access to the resource.
A method comprising:
- receiving a transfer of resource related information over a direct wireless communication from a first mobile terminal at a second mobile terminal without passing via an intermediate terminal or server, wherein the resource related information facilitates access to the resource;
- and
- initiating, by the second mobile terminal, based on the resource related information a connection to access the resource over a wireless communication network without passing via the first mobile terminal.
A method comprising:
- establishing, by a first mobile terminal, a first connection from the first mobile terminal via a wireless communication network to a server, to access a resource;
- initiating, by the first mobile terminal, a transfer of resource related information relating to the resource to a second mobile terminal over a direct communication between the first mobile terminal and the second mobile terminal without passing via an intermediate terminal or server, wherein the resource related information facilitates access to the resource;
- and
- initiating, by the second mobile terminal based on the resource related information, a second connection to access the resource without passing via the first mobile terminal.
