Display apparatus and operating channel setting method for display apparatus

An operating channel setting method for a display apparatus, the method comprising:

• receiving device information of a portable device, which comprises first information about a wireless connection between the portable device and a first access point and second information about whether the portable device supports a real simultaneous dual band (RSDB) connection, from the portable device;
• and
• determining a peer-to-peer (P2P) operating channel between the display apparatus and the portable device, based on device information of the display apparatus which comprises third information about a wireless connection between the display apparatus and the first access point and fourth information about whether the display apparatus supports a RSDB connection, and the received device information of the portable device,
• wherein, the determining of the P2P operating channel comprises determining the P2P operating channel by using the first information and the third information,
• the method further comprises
• controlling the display apparatus to connect to the portable device through the determined P2P operating channel,
• identifying whether the display apparatus and the portable device support the RSDB connection based on the second information and the fourth information, and
• determining the peer-to-peer (P2P) operating channel between the display apparatus and the portable device further based on identifying whether the display apparatus and the portable device support the RSDB connection.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program that is executable by a computer to perform an operating channel setting method for a display apparatus, the method comprising:

• receiving device information of a portable device, which comprises first information about a wireless connection between the portable device and a first access point and second information about whether the portable device supports a real simultaneous dual band (RSDB) connection, from the portable device;
• and
• determining a peer-to-peer (P2P) operating channel between the display apparatus and the portable device, based on device information of the display apparatus which comprises third information about a wireless connection between the display apparatus and the first access point and fourth information about whether the display apparatus supports a RSDB connection, and the received device information of the portable device,
• wherein, the determining of the P2P operating channel comprises determining P2P operating channel by using the first information and the third information,
• the method further comprises
• controlling the display apparatus to connect to the portable device through the determined P2P operating channel,
• identifying whether the display apparatus and the portable device support the RSDB connection based on the second information and the fourth information, and
• determining the peer-to-peer (P2P) operating channel between the display apparatus and the portable device further based on identifying whether the display apparatus and the portable device support the RSDB connection.
