Abstract
There is provided an imaging device including a pixel array section including pixel units two-dimensionally arranged in a matrix pattern, each pixel unit including a photoelectric converter, and a plurality of column signal lines disposed according to a first column of the pixel units. The imaging device further includes an analog to digital converter that is shared by the plurality of column signal lines.

An imaging device, comprising:
- a plurality of pixels including a first pixel and a second pixel;
- a first signal line coupled to the first pixel;
- a second signal line coupled to the second pixel;
- a comparator coupled to the first and the second signal lines, the comparator including;
- a first differential pair unit including;
- a first differential transistor coupled to the first signal line;
- a second differential transistor coupled to a reference signal generation circuit;
- a first select transistor coupled to the first differential transistor;
- and
- a second select transistor coupled to the second differential transistor;
- and
- a second differential pair unit including;
- a third differential transistor coupled to the second signal line;
- a fourth differential transistor coupled to the reference signal generation circuit;
- a third select transistor coupled to the third differential transistor;
- and
- a fourth select transistor coupled to the fourth differential transistor.

An electronic apparatus, comprising:
- an optical system including at least one lens;
- and
- a device configured to receive light from the optical system, wherein the imaging includes:
- a plurality of pixels including a first pixel and a second pixel;
- a first signal line coupled to the first pixel;
- a second signal line coupled to the second pixel;
- a comparator coupled to the first and the second signal lines, the comparator including;
- a first differential pair unit including;
- a first differential transistor coupled to the first signal line;
- a second differential transistor coupled to a reference signal generation circuit;
