Abstract
An anchorage device is provided that is configured to surround an implantable medical device. The anchorage device includes a first component having a first substrate and a second component having a second substrate. The second component is positioned within the first component. One of the first and second substrates includes a hemostatic agent and the other of the first and second substrates includes an active pharmaceutical ingredient. Kits, systems and methods are disclosed.

An anchorage device configured to surround an implantable medical device, the anchorage device comprising:
- a first component including a first pouch comprising a first substrate, the first pouch comprising a first cavity and a first opening that is communication with the first cavity;
- and
- a second component including a second pouch comprising a second substrate, the second component being positioned within the first cavity, the second pouch comprising a second cavity and a second opening that is communication with the second cavity, the second opening being in communication with the first opening such that an implantable medical device can be inserted through the openings and into the second cavity,
- wherein the substrates each include a mesh material such that the anchorage device is configured to allow tissue ingrowth through the first substrate and into the second substrate, and
- wherein one of the first and second substrates comprises a hemostatic agent and the other of the first and second substrates comprises an active pharmaceutical ingredient.
