A novel maize variety designated X08M624 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X08M624 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X08M624 through backcrossing or genetic transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby are described. Maize variety X08M624, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X08M624 are provided. Methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X08M624 and methods of using maize variety X08M624 are disclosed.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X08M624, the seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH2D58 with a second plant of variety PH4257, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH2D58 and PH4257 have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-124436 and PTA-124803, respectively.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X08M624 further comprising a transgene, the seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH2D58 with a second plant of variety PH4257, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH2D58 and PH4257 have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-124436 and PTA-124803, respectively, and wherein the transgene has been introduced into at least one of variety PH2D58 and variety PH4257.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X08M624 further comprising a locus conversion, wherein a plant grown from the seed comprises a trait conferred by the locus conversion, and wherein the seed is produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH2D58 with a second plant of variety PH4257, wherein the first plant, the second plant or both further comprise the locus conversion, and wherein representative seed of the varieties PH2D58 and PH4257 have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-124436 and PTA-124803, respectively, and wherein the seed produces a plant having otherwise all the physiological and morphological characteristics as maize variety X08M624 when grown under the same environmental conditions.
