Vented push switch

A push switch comprising:

• a resin case that has four side surfaces, an upper surface and a bottom surface, the resin case comprising a recess including a bottom part which has a through hole and a groove;
• a connection terminal that extends from a first side surface among the four side surfaces of the resin case toward an outside of the resin case;
• an upper protection sheet that is provided on the upper surface of the resin case in such a manner as to cover the recess;
• and
• a lower protection sheet that is provided on the lower surface of the resin case, wherein:
• the bottom part has a first surface as a bottom of the recess and a second surface opposite to the first surface, the second surface constituting a part of the lower surface of the resin case,
• the through hole passes through the bottom part,
• the groove is provided on the second surface of the bottom part,
• the through hole and the groove are connected to each other within the bottom part,
• the through hole overlaps with the lower protection sheet in plan view, and
• the groove has a first groove and a second groove continuous from the first groove, and of the first groove and the second groove, only the first groove overlaps with the lower protection sheet in plan view.
