An adsorption pump comprising:
- a housing having an inlet port and an outlet port for a sample;
- a movable part at least partly located inside the housing;
- and
- an adsorption part located inside the housing;
- wherein the absorption part is located in the movable part, and
- wherein the movable part includes an impeller including a blade.
