Abstract
Provided is a solid-state imaging device including a lamination-type backside illumination CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) image sensor having a global shutter function. The solid-state imaging device includes a separation film including one of a light blocking film and a light absorbing film between a memory and a photo diode.
Claims13
An imaging device, comprising:
- a plurality of pixels, at least one of the plurality of pixels including:
- a photo diode having a light incident side and configured to generate charge based on incident light, wherein the light incident side is a first side of the photo diode that is opposite to a second side of the photo diode;
- a memory disposed at the second side of the photo diode;
- a transistor configured to transfer the charge from the photo diode to the memory;
- and
- a separation film disposed between the memory and the photo diode,
- wherein the separation film has a through-hole in which the transistor is disposed.

An electronic apparatus, comprising:
- a lens layer;
- and
- an imaging device to receive incident light through the lens layer, the imaging device including a plurality of pixels, at least one of the plurality of pixels including:
- a photo diode having a light incident side and configured to generate charge based on incident light, wherein the light incident side is a first side of the photo diode that is opposite to a second side of the photo diode;
- a memory disposed at the second side of the photo diode;
- a transistor configured to transfer the charge from the photo diode to the memory;
- and
- a separation film disposed between the memory and the photo diode,
- wherein the separation film has a through-hole in which the transistor is disposed.
