User interfaces for parking zone creation

A system comprising:

• one or more processor of a machine;
• a data store storing a plurality of parking zone data objects;
• a machine-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the machine to perform operations comprising:
• displaying a parking zone creation user interface on a client device communicatively coupled to the machine, the parking zone creation user interface including data input elements for receiving information describing a parking zone including at least one parking space;
• receiving, via the parking zone creation user interface, location data identifying a geospatial area on a geospatial map;
• creating a new parking zone data object corresponding to the geospatial area identified on the geospatial map, the new parking zone data object including the location data;
• receiving, via the parking zone creation interface, a parking policy defining one or more parking rules associated with the newly created parking zone;
• modifying the newly created parking zone data object to include the parking policy;
• and
• persisting the newly created parking zone data object to the data store.
