Abstract
A virtual memory including virtual addresses may be generated. A first virtual address of the virtual memory may be mapped to a first physical address of a one-time programmable (OTP) memory of a device. Furthermore, a second virtual address of the virtual memory may be mapped to a second physical address of a static memory of the device. The virtual memory that is mapped to the OTP memory and the static memory may be provided for accessing of the data of the OTP memory of the device.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- generating a virtual memory comprising a plurality of virtual addresses;
- mapping, by a processing device, a first virtual address of the plurality of virtual addresses of the virtual memory to a first physical address of a one-time programmable (OTP) memory of a device;
- mapping a second virtual address of the plurality of virtual addresses of the virtual memory to a second physical address of a static memory of the device;
- providing the virtual memory that is mapped to the OTP memory and the static memory for accessing of data of the OTP memory of the device;
- scanning the virtual memory to identify the first virtual address that is mapped to the first physical address of the OTP memory and the second virtual address that is mapped to the second physical address of the static memory;
- identifying a function of the device based on the second virtual address that is mapped to the second physical address of the static memory based on the scanning of the virtual memory, wherein the identification of the function is stored at the second physical address of the static memory;
- identifying a status indicator of the function of the device based on the first virtual address that is mapped to first physical address of the OTP memory based on the scanning of the virtual memory, wherein the status indicator of the function is stored at the first physical address of the OTP memory;
- and
- performing the function of the device from the identification of the function that is stored at the second physical address of the static memory in response to the status indicator that is stored at the first physical address of the OTP memory indicating that the function is to be enabled.
A system comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- a processing device operatively coupled to the memory and to:
- generate a virtual memory comprising a plurality of virtual addresses;
- map a first virtual address of the plurality of virtual addresses of the virtual memory to a first physical address of a one-time programmable (OTP) memory of a device;
- map a second virtual address of the plurality of virtual addresses of the virtual memory to a second physical address of a static memory of the device;
- provide the virtual memory that is mapped to the OTP memory and the static memory for accessing of data of the OTP memory of the device;
- scan the virtual memory to identify the first virtual address that is mapped to the first physical address of the OTP memory and the second virtual address that is mapped to the second physical address of the static memory;
- identify a function of the device based on the second virtual address that is mapped to the second physical address of the static memory based on the scanning of the virtual memory, wherein the identification of the function is stored at the second physical address of the static memory;
- identify a status indicator of the function of the device based on the first virtual address that is mapped to first physical address of the OTP memory based on the scanning of the virtual memory, wherein the status indicator of the function is stored at the first physical address of the OTP memory;
- and
- perform the function of the device from the identification of the function that is stored at the second physical address of the static memory in response to the status indicator that is stored at the first physical address of the OTP memory indicating that the function is to be enabled.
A non-transitory computer readable medium including data that, when accessed by a processing device, cause the processing device to perform operations comprising:
- generating a virtual memory comprising a plurality of virtual addresses;
- mapping a first virtual address of the plurality of virtual addresses of the virtual memory to a first physical address of a one-time programmable (OTP) memory of a device;
- mapping a second virtual address of the plurality of virtual addresses of the virtual memory to a second physical address of a static memory of the device;
- providing the virtual memory that is mapped to the OTP memory and the static memory for accessing of data of the OTP memory of the device;
- scanning the virtual memory to identify the first virtual address that is mapped to the first physical address of the OTP memory and the second virtual address that is mapped to the second physical address of the static memory;
- identifying a function of the device based on the second virtual address that is mapped to the second physical address of the static memory based on the scanning of the virtual memory, wherein the identification of the function is stored at the second physical address of the static memory;
- identifying a status indicator of the function of the device based on the first virtual address that is mapped to first physical address of the OTP memory based on the scanning of the virtual memory, wherein the status indicator of the function is stored at the first physical address of the OTP memory;
- and
- performing the function of the device from the identification of the function that is stored at the second physical address of the static memory in response to the status indicator that is stored at the first physical address of the OTP memory indicating that the function is to be enabled.
