Abstract
An method for making a shielding assembly includes the steps of: forming a plurality of active layers, wherein each active layer of the plurality of active layers includes a base material and a fluorescent molecule; and forming a multi-layer laminate including the plurality of active layers.
Claims20
A method for making a shielding assembly comprising the steps of:
- forming a plurality of active layers, wherein each active layer of said plurality of active layers comprises a base material and a fluorescent molecule;
- and
- forming a multi-layer laminate comprising said plurality of active layers, wherein said multi-layer laminate is configured to successively shift, through each one of said plurality of active layers, electromagnetic radiation from a visible portion of an electromagnetic spectrum to a non-visible portion of said electromagnetic spectrum.
A method for making a shielding assembly configured to absorb light having a wavelength and to emit light having a different wavelength, said method comprising:
- forming a first active layer comprising a first fluorescent composition configured to absorb light having a first wavelength and emit light having a second wavelength that is different than said first wavelength;
- forming a second active layer, adjacent to said first active layer, comprising a second fluorescent composition configured to absorb light having said second wavelength and emit light having a third wavelength that is different than said first wavelength and said second wavelength;
- and
- forming a multi-layer laminate from said first active layer and said second active layer.
