Abstract
A coating composition that exhibits high cure speed is described. The coating composition includes one or more monomers, one or more oligomers, and a photoinitiator. The coating composition further includes a photo sensitizer that acts in cooperation with a photoinitiator to increase cure speed.
Claims22
A coating composition comprising:
- an oligomer component, the oligomer component comprising the reaction product of a composition that includes:
- a diisocyanate compound;
- a hydroxy (meth)acrylate compound;
- and
- a polyol compound,
- wherein the diisocyanate compound, the hydroxy (meth)acrylate compound and the polyol compound are present in the molar ratio n:m:p, respectively, where n is in the range from 3.0 to 5.0, m is in the range from 1.50n-3 to 2.50n-5, and p is 2;
- and
- a photosensitizer.
