Abstract
The invention relates to an elastomeric film-forming composition comprising a carboxylic acid- or ester-grafted polychlorobutadiene, and one or more cross-linking agents. The invention also relates to dipped articles, gloves, methods of manufacture and uses involving the composition.
Claims37
An elastomeric film-forming composition comprising:
- (a) a polymer component comprising a carboxylic acid- or ester-grafted polychlorobutadiene, and
- (b) one or more cross-linking agents,
- wherein the carboxylic acid or ester-grafted polychlorobutadiene contains carboxylic acid or ester grafting in an amount of from 0.01% to 8% by weight of chlorobutadiene units present in the carboxylic acid or ester-grafted polychlorobutadiene.
