Abstract
A trans-isomeric compound of formula (I) below or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof: in which R1 is C1-C5 alkyl or C3-C5 cycloalkyl and the trans-isomeric compound has a trans:cis ratio of at least 70:30. Further disclosed is a method for preparing the trans-isomeric compound.

A trans-isomeric compound of formula (I) below or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof:
- wherein R1 is C1-C5 alkyl or C3-C5 cycloalkyl and the trans-isomeric compound has a trans:cis ratio of at least 70:30.
A method of preparing a trans-isomeric compound of formula (I) below or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof:
- the method comprising hydrogenating a compound of formula (II) below or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof:
- with a palladium catalyst in the presence of an inert solvent to obtain a trans-isomeric compound of formula (I) having a trans:cis ratio of at least 70:30 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof,
- wherein R1 of formulas (I) and (II) is C1-C5 alkyl or C3-C5 cycloalkyl.
A trans-isomeric compound of formula (I) below or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof:
- wherein the trans-isomeric compound having a trans:cis ratio of at least 70:30 is prepared by hydrogenating a compound of formula (II) below or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof:
- with a palladium catalyst in the presence of an inert solvent, in which R1 of formulas (I) and (II) is C1-C5 alkyl or C3-C5 cycloalkyl.
